The one little trick I use to keep calm when stuck in traffic jams…

Traffic jams make me bi-polar. One car sneaking in in front of my and go from happily jamming to my favorite song to rolling down my window and giving some poor unsuspecting (and probably perfectly nice) human being the bird in less than a second, way less. It’s like a reflex.

And the other driver’s always shocked and look at me like “where the f*ck did that come from?!?! You seemed so nice”.

Their jerk-ish behavior aside, I always end up feeling guilty and 5 years old.

During my meditation class last week my yoga teacher unknowingly gave me a way better use time spent in traffic jams. She suggests OM-ing when you’re stressed out, be it in a supermarket, at work, or in a traffic jam.

Why didn’t I think of that? So simple, and effective.

So, next time you’re in a traffic jam chant Ommmmm the sound of the universe, connect with yogis across time and find peace while waiting.
