Sometimes, doing nothing is harder to do than being constantly busy. Take a trip to the islands with My island vacation cocktail recipe with strawberries, watermelon, coconut and rum. Full recipe below.
Happy hour gets an island vacation vibe when you sip this refreshing, sweet cocktail made with fresh fruit, coconut water and a splash of rum.
Skip the rum for a healthier happy hour.
Coconut water has super hydrating powers, fresh strawberries are full of vitamin C, watermelon has a good amount of vitamins A, B6 and C, lots of antioxidants and amino acids. There’s even a modest amount of potassium.
So this cocktail is better for you even with the rum. It’s also super easy to make.
Blend fresh strawberries and watermelon chunk, then strain.
Since you strain the blended fruits there’s no need to seed the watermelon beforehand. Hooray.
This cocktail is great on hot summer days. If you do decide to leave out the rum, it’d be the perfect post-workout juice.
I feel like if there’s a girls’ pillow fight somewhere, it started because of this cocktail. It’s sweet and refreshing taste makes it easy to drink.
Please enjoy responsibly.
